Zimmaron and Bill travelled East of Sacramento, to Ananda Village, to meet and interview the world-renown Swami Kriyananada (a direct disciple of Parmahansa Yogananada). After hearing stories and experiences from Swamiji, they were then taken on a tour of the community that he founded, and continues to direct, where they met students and residents who also shared their spiritual walk, philosophies, and their profound experiences of transformation.
New York Events

Enjoy these photos of the New York Events. A small but devoted team (Lisa, Wendy, Zimmaron, Bill, and Markus) accompanied the Master and his daughter Ariel, to various events in the New York Area. This trip included an evening event at Alex Grey’s CoSM Galleries in Manhatten, a TV interview in Staten Island, a one-day retreat at the Mount Manresa Retreat Center, a series of private audiences at the Spiritual Path Center on Staten Island, and a ceremony at the Statue of Liberty.

This shoot was filmed for the opening sequence for A Voice from Eternity. This was the original DVD project that Bill was commisoned to complete and that he began in San Francsico. This simple project became the catalyst for his continuing journey with Pranananda and inspried him to begin the feature length documentary, A Great Awakening.
Monkeyman Studios

After hearing Markus play a composition that he had written some years ago, Bill arranged for the song entitled I Am to be recorded at Monkeyman Studios for the beginning sequence and ending credits of the DVD, A Voice from Eternity. Pranananda was invited to accompany the crew (as well as Peter Dewitt who also played guitar on the recording) to the studio for a late night recording session that went into the wee hours of the morning. the interview content for A Voice from Eternity was filmed in the Medicine Buddha Temple in down town San Francisco. We constructed a temporary studio and spent the next four hours completely mesmerized by the master, as he revealed powerful truths and insights, shared about his life and his journey, and imparted his universal wisdom on a wide range of topics. It was truly an inspiring evening.
Open Secret Evening

The Open Secret bookstore has become a favorite spiritual “hot spot” that has hosted a series of masters, gurus, and spiritual figures throughout the years. This was the location for Louix’s first evening event in the San Francisco area and one of the first major filming projects for our intrepid crew. At the time, the footage was only intended to be used in the DVD that Bill been hired to produce. But it was clear after a profound evening of darshan with the master, a much greater vision for the documentary was already being formulated.
