Laurie Wynne Weber
Laurie Wynne Weber has been creating art since the age of five. Inspired by her uncle, who was a celebrated Interior Designer in Chicago, she was exposed early in life to the world of textiles and design. Those childhood seeds began to formally take root in her studies at the University of Kansas.

Supplementing her core curriculum as a painting major with many textiles classes contributed to the textures characteristic in her work. Laurie is fascinated with creating layers, using line, shape, texture, and color juxtaposed like threads in fabric. The pushing and pulling of these elements create expressions that are energetic, simultaneously loud and subtle, like the dance of life.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, Laurie studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, where she became certified to teach art in the public schools of Illinois. During the next six years of teaching art, Laurie began to see the world more through the eyes of a child.
She presently resides in Chicago roots with her family, where they now live and work. Her childhood fascination with art, her education, her travels, and her spiritual unfoldment have all contributed to who Laurie is as an artist. To behold her work is to touch the heart—and the wise and joyful soul—that pours forth in her every piece
Dakeno Mark
Dakeno Mark is an artist and poet and aspiring graphic novelist who lives in Camberwell, Melbourne. Born in Capetown, South Africa he emigrated to Australia in 1983 with his parents at the age of fourteen.
He attended the Studio, School of Creative Drawing in Melbourne for many years of intensive study under his mentor, renowned Melbourne artist, Peter Foster. Here he mastered the principles of drawing, composition, colour, tone, visual perception and anatomy. Dakeno later taught adult life drawing and still life classes at the school. Dakeno’s forte is the human form and completes works in pastel, charcoal, graphite and watercolour. He uses the right-brain drawing approach which encompasses drawing via feeling and intuition, while using a very free and fluid drawing style. Other subject matter includes portraiture, still life and what he refers to as ‘dreamscapes’, new works from the realm of his imagination, dreams, personal journals and encounters with ‘The Divine’.

”I believe that all art is a co-creation with God, and all art already exists in the ethereal. We need only merge with ‘The Divine’ and let the beauty and love flow through us and out into the world.”
Please feel free to contact Dakeno via email with any questions. There are many completed works ready for purchase and he is available for any commission work and new spirit portraits where he will sit with a subject to receive an aspect of their divinity/spirit guide/angels or past life aspect and then complete the portrait.
Also in the making is a series of poetry books to be accompanied by photography and artworks and a graphic novel as well as a series of greeting cards. His captivating images are dynamic, bold, and rich in colour or by contrast be subtle with a strong sense of feeling.

Thoth
Presently Living in New York City, Thoth, who is often referred to as an “Urban Shaman”, continues to mesmerize all those who are witness to his awesome display of creativity and passionate energy.
His healing began with the realization that he is one with the ancestral energies and spirit. He invites and honors all aspects of our world culture and myths. This allows Thoth the creative freedom to break into the open space of free flowing thought and spirit unhindered by the limitations.
Through Thoth’s prayformances, he activates internal realizations from within our own inner realms, and by the end of the experience we can walk away with a renewed sense of understanding ourselves, sensing the great union with all worlds.
On Feb 2008, He captivated the audience at the Alex Grey CoSM gallery in New York as he opened the public darshan for Louix Dor Dempriey with an breath-taking prayformance during the New York events. (See Gallery – click here)
His ability to manipulate energy and move between all worlds with sound, vibration, dance, prayer, and music is unlike anything one can imagine. It has to be seen and experienced to be fully appreciated. Journey with him into the worlds within.
Back from the Studio and Other News

The team went back to Monkeyman Studios this past weekend to record some of the devotional songs that are sung around the ashram. It was a highly productive session and the tracks are turning out to be really amazing and beautiful. Joel has been one of my best friends since high school, and it is always a lot of fun to get together with him and play in his studio. He outdid himself in this session, playing over seven instruments and adding vocals, not to mention handling all of the technical aspects of the studio. Every time we would talk about what was needed on a track he would come back with a different instrument, suggesting that we try it. I didn’t even know he played a couple of the instruments he came up with. It was really fun, and we should have a photo gallery with pictures up soon. A giant thank you goes out to Joel for all of his hard work and dedication to the project!
In other news we are winding up the production of an interview with Louix on DVD, called A Voice from Eternity. We have been working really hard on this DVD and it feels really good to be finally getting it out the door. We will be screening the film in various locations around California, so check out the website to see our screening schedule and be the first to see this awesome DVD!
There is a lot of momentum building within this project, and the website should be finished soon, so keep checking in and seeing what’s new. For those of you who have met Louix, please blog about your experiences and share with us all your perspective, and a big thanks to those of you who have already contributed, we really appreciate your support!

Thank you to Blanca Greenburg and members of Spiritual Path Center, Eileen Marino and her lovely family, Michael White, the haunting Prayformance of Thoth, and all the amazing souls from the New York area who hosted us, and shared their love. See you next time…
